River Otter commented on Caveman's blog post 'Racism and Christianity'
LMAO felch! True enough. I have often pondered this question. I also wonder why so many Mexicans are Christian. Their history with Christianity is pretty brutal too.

Great read. Thanks Nerd. I too think that we need to start desensitizing atheism. The more people get to know us the better. My first semester at school, I was openly atheist. I wore my atheist button on my backpack and drank coffee from my…

I work in an environment dominated by Christians, in Christland central. All of the women I work with are Christians with ink. Everyone of them. Also many of the customers have tatoos. There are several that have tattooed the neck, wrist, and ankle.

Well said felch. Oh Cliff, You have know idea what an atheist is, therefore making you unqualified to answer any questions about us. There would only be no atheists if there wasn't those made up fairytails you theists keep trying to cram down…

Your question doesn't make sense to me. What does this, "think about the last time you rebelled against something. Like stealing your sisters' lunch money because you didn't get any, or when you think your husbands messing…

Thanks for that link FG. It is good to know that there is an organization out there who thinks along the same lines.

I don't feel sorry for this dingbat. So what if he is mental? Should he get a pass for being a theif and a liar? In the real world, he is reaping what he sowed. Let that be a lesson to him. Maybe when he comes back he will have cleaned up his…

Obama said he was going to cut shit back that didn't work. Looks like he is holding true to this word. Now if we could just get rid of the "War on Drugs".

Gov. Bobby Jindal, Need help with that foot in your mouth?

Posted on March 24, 2009 at 11:47am 0 Comments

LOL! Louisana Governor, Bobby Jindal, will be eating his words for breakfast this week.

If you all watched his rebuttal to Obama's address to Congress a few weeks back, you noticed that Jindal isn't much on the idea of spending money on volcano monitoring. Well, Mt. Redoubt erupted in Alaska on Sunday.

Check out this blog and it's links. http://www.americablog.com/2009/03/bobby-jindals-volcano-erupted.html

I got this number from Bill O'Reilly rant on Fox about the Atheist display in Seattle Washington. He has urged the Christians to call and get the display removed.

Thanks Bill, I just called Governor Gregorie in support of it. I actually got a human on the phone too. I thanked them heartedly for the display and not showing bigotry. I also wished them a Happy Holiday no matter what they celebrated. The woman I talked to was kind and polite and didn't seem to take offence.

Thanks for your replies to my blog (Speaking Out and Finding my Voice II). This upcoming speech will be more friendly because of other topics I want to touch on for this particular audience, but I will definitely be speaking out more in the future, and the links you provided will be excellent resources!

I thank you for your compliments. I do try and keep myself upon to whomever, never said I closed people off. After all, love is a marvelous thing when possessed. Just wish I did not have to constantly feel like I am walking in between two worlds trying to constantly hold on to the both of them in the process. Only now do I begin to see myself more in the aspects of my individuality as opposed to solely being in the construct of a black man. This has been very very difficult to achieve over the last 5 years to be honest.

Glad you found the information useful. It's one of those things that the more information you have and know, the more angry you get at our elected and appointed officials. Also the government agencies and government employees, which in the long run, work for YOU.

Thanks, I would definitely like to attend at least one, do give me the details. Not a loner at all, if anything is hard to fit everything I want to do on my schedule.

So you design kitchens, does that fall under interior design? I used to design kitchen cabinets for Kohler.

This one looks like it's in NC. From what I've heard, the Judgement Houses aren't AS bad as Hell Houses, but I'm not sure...
This website talks about both kinds.

Hi, you asked about the Hell Houses. From what I can tell, they come mainly from the evangelical branch of christianity, ie., pentecostals, militant baptists, etc. I've discussed them with several catholics and non denominational christians, and they were horrified.
