I was raised without any discussion of religion. I have a mildly Catholic family.
When I was a teenager, I did the whole gambit of soul searching, religious studies, etc. I went to college at 15 and took as many religion, mythology, philosophy courses, etc. as I could.
I learned that human cultures pre-existed belief in monotheism. You would think if god had been there all along, then he might have told the pagans about himself earlier? I learned about the council of Nicea. The authors of the Old Testament. Eastern philosophy, etc.
There are a multitude of reasons not to believe, and not many reasons to believe. So, that's where I sit.
