Nontheist as opposed to athiest
I belonged to a group here in Florida that is affiliated with Freethinkers.When one of the group leaders said " all babies are born atheists" , I took exception.To be an athiest or faith believer you must be aware that both exist and the individual will have to make a CHOICE. Now granted as babies we are influenced by our parents and their beliefs are generally imparted to us. Some people don't post "real" pictures because they have privacy issues. I don't think anyone's ashamed to be atheist, or to be here. Plus, in some parts of the world, people can be killed for being atheist. Then there is also the issue of stalkers.
It's great that you feel comfortable and are able to post your photo.

Try joining groups like the busy discussion group “ORIGINS” (Origins: Universe, Life, Humans, Evolution, Religion..... ).
I have been running a long discussion (over 50 posts) there about being "Proud to be Atheist" because we should all be proud,
seeing that atheists and humanists hold the intellectual high ground over the nonsense of the irrational, superstitious god believers.
