Cheryl Kerkin said… Love the sonic boom picture. I'm sad I'll never get to go on Concord. Always one of my ambitions. I wanted to know if you could hear the boom from on board. I always looked out the window, or just up, if it was going over London. The engine sound was completely different and it would be coming in to land. Looked so beautiful.
The Jumbo jet was developed by the US at the same time, sold a heap round the world, Concord didn't. As someone commented, "The world wanted a bus, we gave them a Batmobile".
