Nice to learn there is at least one more of us unsaved heathrens in Alexandria, misery loves company! What does a sane person do in this damned city, aside from counting all the churches located on just about every block. I am from New Orleans, moved here several months after 'Katrina.' I made the mistake of buying a cottage near Cotile lake and I have it back on the market, if it ever sells.....
I plan on moving someplace else any place but La. With the exception of New Orleans, Louisian is very ignorant.

Welcome to A|N! As a professor, poet, and musician, this community is honored by your presence. If your cooking includes Cajun, you'll doubless have lots of fans here as well!
In addition to regional or state groups, the discussion groups include authors, and musicians, and cooking. Please the ever-present discussions and forums regarding theism, atheism, culture, and other topics.
I hope you will find something of interest, either in the groups, or by blogging about your thoughts and experiences, or just reading what others have to say.
Best wishes,
Daniel
