Another Day in Small-town Arkansas

I just had an experience that I have a strong need to share with whomever feels like reading it. I manage a small business in a very small town. During the average day I deal with all sorts of people. Just a while ago, an older gentleman came in and obviously needed someone to talk to. He stood in my store and had a very normal conversation about his time in the Marine Corp and how different things are with the military today.

My first date ever was at a Junior High dance. My date looked miserable the whole time and called her dad to come get us halfway through the night. Turns out she had had her first period that night before we left for the dance. I have great timing.

Jennie said… - My weekend went well. It was raining so we just hung out around the house and watch Law and Order all day! LOL! It's so crazy cause my grandparents live in Waldron so we always end up in Fort Smith when we go visit. Around here it's busy, close enough to Atlanta to have the big city problems so it's nice to go visit grandma and grandpa on the farm and just chill. :)
