Randy Rose replied to Marc Draco's discussion Don't talk about evolution, shout! in the group ORIGINS: UNIVERSE, LIFE, HUMANKIND, AND DARWIN
"Though I completely agree, I don't think we should take to insults or generally stooping to the level of fundamentalists.  For example, we should be excited and shout about new scientific discoveries that blow the roof off of their absurd…"

Randy Rose replied to Rob Welch's discussion Has Anyone Considered Raising One of His Kids With Religion? in the group Parenting Little Heathens
"If you consider a church, consider going to a Unitarian Universalist church.  They are accepting of all religions and non-religions, and are inclusive to people of all walks of life.  I've attended one in the past that had a lesbian…"

Randy Rose commented on Laura's group Sound Advice
"Neither. It was the the early 2000's. The Darkness were a throwback to 70's glam rock and 80's hair bands. They blended the best of both worlds with sarcastic lyrics and a fucking phenomenal falsetto. Guster, btw, is NOT a xtian…"

"I love the lyrics of the song. It satirizes the view that many xtians have: Jesus saved me because I love/trust/worship/etc. him while he allowed the sinners to die. It pokes fun at the severe narcissism bred in religious circles."

Randy Rose commented on Laura's group Sound Advice
"Here's another great song. The satire gets lost on the religious, but it's obvious to those of us who actually pay attention. "

Randy Rose replied to Apeman Jim's discussion Prayer in uniform in the group Military Atheists (MAAF Official)
"I have similar situations where I tend to point out the mistakes people make in misquoting the bible... or the bibble, as I call it. I don't limit my corrective actions to the military, though! Did you see the results of the latest Pew Forum…"

Randy Rose replied to Apeman Jim's discussion Prayer in uniform in the group Military Atheists (MAAF Official)
"Not only do I have the same experience (one of the many reasons why I got off of Active Duty and went into the Guard), but I have one more that goes beyond absurd. We recently got a new commander from Florida at my unit in NY. He wanted to sit and…"

Randy Rose replied to Brianna Starfish's discussion Insane Clown Posse: And God created controversy: America's nastiest rappers in shocking revelation – they've been evangelical Christians all along in the group Atheist Humor
"It's not that they became Christians. Apparently they've been Christians all along and the whole act was a ploy to get into the mindset of youths to convert them to Christianity. And disguising it for 20 years?? Well, apparently,…"

Randy Rose commented on Laura's group Sound Advice
"Yeah I was a huge Chuck fan as a kid - it broke my heart when I saw him on TV with his wife explaining his view that the Bible should be taught in public schools. That song is fucking awesome, however. I wanted to post a different video for it but…"

Randy Rose commented on Isaac Domagalski's group Atheist Guitarists And Bassists

"In fact, "atheism" is a term that should not even exist. No one ever needs to identify himself as a "non-astrologer" or a "non-alchemist." We do not have words for people who doubt that Elvis is still alive or that aliens have traversed the galaxy only to molest ranchers and their cattle. Atheism is nothing more than the noises reasonable people make in the presence of unjustified religious beliefs."--Sam Harris, Letter to a Christian Nation

"Not their love of men but the impotence of their love of men keeps the Christians of today from-burning us." --Friedrich Nietzsche, Beyond Good and Evil

"It was subtle of God to learn Greek when he wished to become an author-and not to learn it better." --Friedrich Nietzsche, Beyond Good and Evil

"Question with boldness even the existence of God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear." --Thomas Jefferson, 1787 letter to his nephew

"Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man." --Thomas Jefferson

"The way to see by faith is to shut the eye of reason." --Benjamin Franklin, Poor Richard's Almanack, 1758

Hey - do you know Randy Zamorski or Bill Kuebler? I'm thinking they would probably be fairly well know in the Fresno music scene - Randy plays guitar like fire burns gasoline.
