Heh.  I'm positive you're not the only atheist in your county.  The sheer numbers dictate otherwise.  However, I'm sure that every one of them is also deep in hiding.  I've been to rural South Carolina, many times.  Scary place for a rational person.  :-D

 

Does being in a college town gives you much more in the way of intellectual stimulation?  Have you got your drivers license yet, so that you can get out to bookstores or similar focuses of culture?  I don't suppose you've got many meetup.com groups near you, with a town that small.  Hmm.
