About Me

Portuguese from the city of Porto.
I'm an atheist and a humanist.
I had a very "loose" catholic upbringing - I even got the First Communion - but started to loose faith from about age 14 in face of the contradictions and general lack of sense of all things religious.
Started as an agnostic but as the years went by and my understanding and vision of the world changed and my general knowledge of things grew as I progressed in my studies (I studied chemical engineering) I became clearly an atheist. I'm not an "anti-theist".
I love music - though I can't play a single instrument - cinema, literature and almost every other Fine Arts.
Cooking for my friends is one of my greatest pleasures and have my country's traditional and Mediterranean cuisines and Jamie Oliver as fundamental references.
I can read, write and speak English and can read and speak Spanish, some French and a little Italian.
I'm politically active, I'm a left-wing partisan with the socialist/social-democrat family.
I also practice Aikido.
