Thanks for the friend request, and for joining my two groups. Hope you enjoy them, and can make some contributions.

Patrick, since you are a lit major, I have started two groups: Lovers of Shakespeare and Ars Poetica. Please consider joining if you think you are interested.

What do I enjoy reading? Besides Christopher Hitchens (my favorite atheist writer), I like the usual Freethinkers: Dawkins, Harris, etc.

But when it comes to something less scientific or existential, I go with Patrick O'Brian (think movie "Master and Commander"), Oscar Wilde (master of satire), Shelley (read his atheistic writings), Keats (for wonderful poetry), Neil DeGrasse Tyson (for all things space), Hemingway, Woolf ("To the Lighthouse" is great), and, of course, I do like some Shakespeare (the boss) when I'm really in the literary mood.

Right now I'm reading Neil Tyson's "Death by Blackhole" and--when I have the time--Hitchens' "The Portable Atheist." (I still don't find it very portable, damn thing.)

Heyyy Patrick. Yeah I could definitely throw some foreign recommendations your way. Tetsuo: The Iron man, 3-Iron, and Oldboy are all amazing films.

What do you enjoy reading?
