These are the same people in charge of America, telling Obama what he can and cannot do. How sick do they have to be before people wake up to what is actually happening in their name . This is disaster capitalism at its worst. How they can sit round their dinner tables and eat sumptuous meals, wear golden trinkets, dress in… Continue

You're welcome, and thank you! Heh. I suspect a majority of people in the Scotland group are from Glasgow.

Agreed, I think our common ire regarding the union is with the current state of affairs, and where we diverge are the possible solutions where you favor independence for all, whereas i prefer a proper reorganization, including proper checks & balances at regional levels.

Hello again Patricia. You sent me quite a long message yesterday about the iniquities of religion and religious beliefs---so true. [Sigh].
Forgive me for not corresponding properly right now, but I have urgent lectures to complete ahead of my departure for an International Summer School on European Archaeology ( ISSEP ) in Sardinia, and I shall be away for three weeks from July 17th. This will include a period of excavation. Meanwhile enjoy A/N. Cheers, Terry

Hello Patricia Plunkett, and welcome to this friendly meeting place with freethinkers like you who recognise that religion is a huge deception aimed at controlling vulnerable superstitious people, including defenceless children; and
how tragic and inexcusable it is that women and minorities have been oppressed these last two thousand years and even longer.
