Needs more gore. No True Christian will be satisfied with that image. Evulsed blood from various orifices, perhaps? Deep burn marks on head and wrists? Hey, maybe his hair could be on fire!

About the "collagen-injected lips and silicon-injected boobs": Nope. She did not look at all artificially pneumatic, and was very attractive. However, she was also very, very young (early 20s at the latest); she also had several piercings and tattoo…

Hi Dr Myers. I'm not sure how you prefer to be addressed, sorry.

I've been reading your blog for a while now and I really enjoy it. I saw your post with the YouTube of Tim Minchin and I thought you would really enjoy this one.

Although you've probably already sent it, if not, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

PLEASE VOTE YES midway down the page, under 'your opinion' vote on our Winter Solstice display. The question asked is "Do you agree with the judges decision to allow the freethinker to set up their display?' http://arkansasmatters.com/content/news

Thanks for "friending" me PZ. I saw you at the AAI conference in Burbank and became an instant fan. I'm embarrassed to say I didn't know who you were before the conference. I met two girls there and when I asked them what brought them to their first AAI conference, they said (I swear) in unison, "PZ Meyers!", with excitement and a trace of wistfulness. I've since checked out your blog and enjoyed reading about some of your antics. Thank you for your writing and your activism!

Glad to see you here but I don't think that profile pic is going to help with shedding your teddy bear image.

Good to see you here Professor. I'm having a ball playing with Perry S(toopid) Marshall - remember him? CosmicFingerPrints and the Random Number Generator fallacy you took a pop at some time back?

I'm doing a spoof on him (CosmicFingerPuppets.com) which we're discussing over at Origins group - I hope you have time to pass an eye over it.

Hello PZ. I just wanted to thank you for everything you do. Your work and the work of others like you helped me truly begin to understand that it was ok to feel the way I did and that I was actually the logical one. Once again thank you for everything you do. It means a lot.

Keep up the good work brotha!

Hey VVV Walter - It's a Cephalopod. Happy Friday!

I have no problem with other people using pseudonyms. I understand that others have different situations to me. This is a personal decision based on the simple fact that there is now really no reason for me, personally, to continue using a pseudonym…

Good post. I hate to admit it, but I still get superstitious when a situation gets way out of control. "God get me through this." I don't believe in God, but it still calms me a bit. BTW Howard and John D ~ Check out the video I posted on Praying t…

Well, as a tenured professor, I don't have that employment risk. But here I am, surrounded by a bunch of so-called scientists, and every public occasion it is still automatically assumed that everyone is 'christian', i.e. grace before dinner, refere…

I must say I have negative feelings when it comes to homeschooling of any type unless there are medical issues that preclude a public education. I freely admit they are based solely on the isolation from the mainstream I felt as a child. From the 5t…

That brings up an interesting question... What do they do with their kirpan while flying? I seriously doubt they're allowed to bring it on board, so they'd have to put it in their checked luggage. If they're willing to make that concession, then the…

Excellent post Howard - I never really thought of "#4 Unhelpfulness disguised as helplessness". This must be one of the ways prayer actually makes the world a worse place. It provides an excuse for inactivity by claiming it really does do something.…
