It depends upon the person, I guess.  Some people focus more on the negative things that happen to them.

Either way, though, you get a whole lot of confirmation bias, and God is either blessing them or pissing on them.  Either perspective leads a religious person to believe more firmly in a deity.  God wins, either way.

Oh wow.  I was just glancing through some of your Latest Activity list.  So, you broke out of Romania, which is a crazy religious country, despite the secular constitution, and then ended up in England, a largely atheistic country, only to find yourself in a pocket of religious nuts.

Heh heh heh.  Almost enough to make you believe in karma or something similarly silly, huh?  You must have pissed off someone somewhere.

Hello Nova
Welcome to this world of rationality, truth and peace, where common sense and science lead to freethinking wisdom --- as you know well as a true atheist. You are a brave girl, and you can at least be reassured that you are right in being an atheist---while your family's view of a supposedly god-led world is all false .

We invite you to make good friends by joining the busy group "ORIGINS: Universe, Astronomy, Life, Earth, Humans, Religion, Gods, Atheism, Evolution, Darwin..." with 680 discussion topics and 3400 members.http://www.atheistnexus.org/group/originsuniverselifehumankindanddarwin
