Miami sounds nice and warm right about now, I'm glad I don't live in Boston or Vancouver BC anymore (although I do miss both), winter is not for me, I'm a tropical fish...
When I was in college in Philly I had a Haitian friend I used to get together with to drink tropical fruit juice, smoke tweeds (I don't do that anymore), and listen to Brazilian and Haitian music during winter. We would call it '3rd world meetings.'

Orthopedic surgeon sounds wild! How did you get into photo? I'm a graphic designer for a linguistics place, I create illustrations for English language exams for English language learning kids in (so far) 25 of the 50 states, it's quite fun!
Philly was ok, I went to undergrad there but the city didn't look the way it did now, it was dangerous and filthy. I made some good friends but the school was only ok, I only ever go back there to get tattooed, so about once every two years.

If global warming really made the weather warmer and not just crazier, I would drive around in an SUV spraying aqua-net on my shaved head all day...
