What are the consequences of a Christian Fundamentalist takeover of the US military?

I was alarmed and frightened by today's report ( http://www.democracynow.org/2009/5/6/the_crusade_for_a_christian_military ) on the extent that Christian fundamentalists have infiltrated the US Armed Forces, and how they are using their institutionally sanctioned positions of power to proselytize to convert and create religious fervor and blood lust within their ranks and to convert overseas (Muslim) populations to Christianity. The consequences associated with a US military in the hands of…See More

Hi, I see that you mention San Diego CA, I used to live in So Cal. I visited your page trying to get an idea of where your Eco Village is located (or is it -ing). I currently live in CO, but have been looking into the intentional communities for a while now...just not sure which community is going to be the best fit, but when the time is right I'm sure I'll figure it out. Life just has a way of working out like that. Hope to see you around A/N!

Hi.
Welcome to Atheist Nexus with its thousands of good friends.

Join lots of groups like the busy science-based discussion group “ORIGINS” (Origins: Universe, Life, Humans, Evolution, Religion..... ).

I have been running a discussion there (over 60 posts) about being "Proud to be Atheist" because we should all be proud--and those who can "loudly proud"--seeing that atheists and humanists hold the intellectual high ground over the pathetic nonsense of the fictions of irrational, superstitious god believers.
