I am staying here because I am taking a class at FAU at the moment. When they get back on July 5th we are free to do something. While I am here on my own I plan on going to all the FLASH and CFI events which I never get to go to. Maybe I'll see you there. Otherwise, July 12th will be good. Sunday school for infidels! Take it easy, I am looking forward to meeting you and your husband.

It is Father's Day after all! The goal of the Parents meetups is to give us an opportunity to meet while the kids run around. Hollywood is a little far but the organizer lives there so she got first choice! Please make sure that you RSVP on meetup.com.

So, how old are your children? I have two girls age 5 (almost) and 3 1/2. I suppose the park meetup will not be as much fun if your kids are in middle school or something. The other parents that I know of (who will be going) have children in the 3-6 range. I live close to Firefighter's Park and I would be glad to get together with you any time for a play date if you like. My wife and I are both teachers so we are off for the summer (the only perk of being a teacher!). My girls also love Sugar Sand park in Boca which is the best park around. It is a little far but it is worth the trip. Have you ever been there? Anyway, thanks for responding and at the very least I will see you on the 12th.

Please join us for the Florida Atheist and Secular Humanist (FLASH) Parents meetup. It will be in Hollywood on July 12th. We will meet at a park and the kids can play while the parents hang out. I also have two kids. You can sign up through meetup.com. Also, they just moved the FLASH meetup (the regular one) to Coconut Creek and that is every wednesday at Starbucks on Lyons.
