I understand the frustration that many, dare I saw all, atheists have when it comes to religion. Almost daily we are confronted with it on some level, it's just assumed that EVERYONE is a christian (I know that there are other religions, but all of my run ins have been with christians). If we are to make ourselves known, and more importantly, change perceptions how should we go about it?

Hee hee, I'm getting such a kick reading the various FB status updates regarding black friday and jesus! Since I am not a selfish person, I decided to share a few with you:
1)Who's standing in line fighting to see jesus? Try jesus - no line!
2)I think we should have black friday for folks that wanna be saved. You have to be at church at 3 a.m. to make it to heaven.
3)I got everything I need on black friday, JESUS!

So, I'm in the breakroom today and a co-worker says to me, that it's a shame that we get more time off at Thanksgiving than xmas. We should be celebrating "the birth". She asked me if I agreed. I said that I didn't share her feelings on that and to have a nice Thanksgiving.

Im vegetarian so no turkey. There will be sweet potato pie tomorrow, cornbread dressing, bread rolls, casserole = not sure if green bean or brocolli, mac and cheese, not sure what else. Im lobbying for chinese dumplings on sunday, not sure where that will go. We already had a mince pie, it was awesome. Have a happy thanksgiving!
