Hallo Lourenco,
I was raised a RC, too. I thought it was crazy, but since everybody else seemed to believe i really tried to, too. But in the end, it still made no logical sense to me. In this crazy world in which we live, logic was all i could trust-hence i gave up the pope's misogynistic beliefs. Were you taught that birth control was against the church? I was.
just wanted to say hi (didn't mean to deluge you, sry) =)

Yes, imaginary. You are right. God and gods reside only in the brain. I have written much on this. Do try visiting My Profile.

Welcome to Atheist Nexus with its 9000 good friends and discussion groups.
Among the groups, try visiting perhaps the busy group “ORIGINS: Universe, Life, Humans, Evolution, Religion.....” with its 130 commonsense discussions to repel religious nonsense. You will be welcome.
One discussion is "Proud to be Atheist" (74 posts) seeing that atheists and humanists hold the intellectual high ground compared with the pathetic superstitions of the god followers.
