There's about 10 million people living in London and in an international city with high immigration, faith healing will find a place. Apparently the London scam was busted by investigative reporters. There's a BBC news…
Let’s see… I’m sort of a wanderer when it comes to my political views (NO I don’t have a belief system I have political views), some days I’m a anti-theist some days I’m a Humanist but I’m often just a sceptic. I used to be considered a conservative liberal (in Australia) but I have since meandered over to a centralist stance and I try very hard to look at all situations independently and then vote/decide on my own accord.
My opinion on Voting
It’s not a right it is a responsibility and compulsory voting must stay as is in Australia. If you’re too lazy to get off your ass and tell the pollies what you want done with your tax money, then you don’t deserve any freedoms or rights… It is quite literally the least you can do!
What atheism means to me
Atheism is a negative stance (NO I’m not saying its bad) it is simply “I don’t believe in a God” not “I believe there is no God”. It is not a “belief system” for me it is a singular disqualifier. In fact I have no belief system, I have political views and what I currently THINK is true and correct, I like to try my hardest to change my mind and admit I’m wrong when I’m presented with contradictory evidence (well I try I am after all only human).
How do I contribute?
Contributing is a very important component for any community, without it we all sit around looking very bored because no one is doing anything! Me I post news in the Atheist news group as I find them whilst I’m on the net during my breaks at work and I also post occasionally on my blog, whilst my blog is not specifically an Atheist blog but is very much atheist friendly. It’s not much but if everyone puts forward a little bit it will add up like an exponential gravity well
