Respect for your Elders...

Respect for your Elders...

I am curious to hear people's opinions on this topic.

Is this an inherently good and moral ideology?

Is it even good advice?

Does it actually have anything to do with morality?

Why is it such a universal concept?

I would argue that it should be dependent on the "elder" entirely, and that it does not have anything to do with morality. I think that everyone deserves a level of respect congruent with their actions. I understand that "elders" represent…
