Am I missing something? Most Chat Rooms I've visited show everyone currently in that room; you can watch them as they come into the room and when they leave it. This Chat Room does not show who is…Continue
"Larry, I received your message about genealogy. I'm not a "chatterer", but I'd be happy to share information.
At this moment, I'm waiting for results from the Fort Wayne (IN) library about my great great grandfather. It cost…"
"Pat, good to see you still have a sense of humor. With that many things wrong with you, most people (including church-goers) would be ready to commit hari-kari.
I too, have some serious health problems, for the last 9 years,…"
"You are sooooo LUCKY to be able to get that. Living in the city (really a rather small town) no chickens here, or poop. I'd love to find some for my raised beds. I remember my Mom and me cleaning out our chicken house on the…"
"Wow! Loren, guess we'll have your 'left-overs' tonight. Same menu except, add baked ham to it. Will be thinking of your family tonight. Just viewed your profile, to paraphrase W. C. Fields; "Everyone who…"
"It sounds like you didn't understand - it's not a video by a theist on "how to convert an atheist", but rather it's by the atheist Derren Brown, who's a magician who showed how to (temporarily) convert an atheist into a…"
Larry, I received your message about genealogy. I'm not a "chatterer", but I'd be happy to share information.
At this moment, I'm waiting for results from the Fort Wayne (IN) library about my great great grandfather. It cost me $25, but worth the time and drive to research myself. Besides, I've done it once before with no success.
I have a few other holes to fill, but otherwise, it's fairly complete. You?
Larry, who is the artist who made these drawings? I especially like the one which looks like a stable and a barn, with the dividing path. It seems there is a story connected with the reason the road or path to the right looks like it was fenced off, blocking the road, While the road to the left is unblocked, except for the entry gate. The detail in each drawing amazes me ... kind of like little vignettes with a story of an experience.
Hi Larry, and welcome! I'll second what k.h. and Terry said.
A couple of other groups you might enjoy are Godless in the Garden, with lots of discussion, photos, and updates, and Hang With Friends, a place to meet people, catch up on each other's lives, and discuss everything from politics and the environment to cute kitties.
(And I often find interesting stuff in the "Latest Activity" list in the lower right.)
