- Im just a very strangely opinionated southern girl and single mom, who thinks the sooner people let go of the lie that a god will save us and resolve to solve our problems ourselves the sooner this world can evolve into a better place. To me religion is the single biggest barrier that fragments humanity. Superstition and religious dogma serves itself, not humanity. Letting go of religion has been one of the greatest feelings of mental liberation I have ever experienced, and no longer bound to it (not that I ever really was) there is no limit as to what my mind is free to think about openly and without pause. I spent my life filling my brain with knowledge and searching for answers to questions. I am free to ask ALL questions. What an awesome feeling!!!
I'm a classical pianist, enjoy art and rock (all genres) Alice in Chains, Rage Against the Machine, Tool, Orgy, Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Sponge, Cake, I'm a HUGE Henry Rollins fan! I enjoy watching True Blood, Pillars of the Earth, A&E, The Science Channel, History Channel, NatGeo, you get the drift...I'm also an Amateur (Very) Astronomer, and I CRAVE intelligent conversation!! So I have been thinking a lot lately about what is really wrong in the world, and more specifically, what's wrong with this country. Where's it going? What ARE we??? Now, I am no genius, but I certainly like to think of myself as a rational person who tends to look at things for what they are....good or bad. So, I am one of those unlucky souls who happens to have an ex-husband who not only hates me, and would probably KILL me if he thought he could get away with it, that I have a child with. Things have gotten to the level where if I were his wife, I would be pissed about the amount of time he wasted stalking me on the internet and finding things to use against me to try and gain custody of our 13 year old son. So I got all nervous thinking that I wasn't going to comprehend what was written in this book. After the first chapter, big sigh of relief. I'm not going to babble on about the theories and laws Hawking and Mlodinow used to lead up to their theory of how we came into existence. I think the point of this book, IS there is finally a theory.

Most of these people I have known my whole life. I grew up with them and they have been my friends for a very long time, however.....I don't go out with certain ones, and I don't even feel like calling them friends any more. I am just WORN the hell out.
