A Beautiful Billboard Indeed

This billboard in the Carolinas is just right, in my opinon.  Nobody can say anyone's "forcing" anything on another, yet nobody can say free-thinkers don't care.  It's just right.  Hail truth, mythology be damned.  And don't forget the upcoming Solstice Eclipse, another awesome wonder of our universe.See More

One thing I discovered is the writers of the holy writ were, not only raving loons and liars, they were prolific and unabashed plagiarist. The entire bible of wonders and gee whizzes is just a bunch of weird, older, irrational bullshit gleaned from…

God had Noah build the Ark so he and his family could experience first-hand what the poop of all the different species of animals (and insects) smelled like! Learned how to differentiate between Tyrannosaurus Rex poop and that of a Koala…

How did Noah get all the indigenous species of animals off Madagascar, seeing he didn't have a boat yet to get them, and then get them all back, seeing the boat was stuck now on a mountain top? The utter and total nonsense, (not to mention the…

Carver..I also had questions about how a small group of people could re-build civilization among the rotting corpses of their friends and family......not to mention all of the dead animals. I recall getting answers from various grown-ups (haha) that…

I can't figure out why he needed a flood in the first place. Why didn't he just "uncreate" the transgressors and get on with it. After all that water got sucked back into the earth can you imagine the mess left behind - rotting…

Oh, and I also thought that when a woman was pregnant she just got bigger and bigger and bigger until, ultimately, the baby just exploded out of her belly button. Now that's an idea God could have used, too!

Joshua wrote: Why not just make our wives get pregnant automagically the moment we are wed in "holy matrimony"? No fuss. No rules to break. Everything under perfect control. ROFL! This is actually what I thought happened when I was 10…

I was thinking about something similar tonight but it had to do with sex. The all powerful creator of the universe who supposedly can make a virgin preggers with little more than the thought "designed" us to have to make a sloppy and…

In my experience in a LDS Boy Scout troop, I found that being around that nonsense just pushed me further along towards free thought. When I came home from meetings or summer camp me and my friends would laugh and joke about it. It seems that he is…

Saw a "documentary" about Noah's stupid ark story and I never thought it before but I must wonder why the architect of the entire universe would even need an ark??? the episode raised more questions than it answered, of course.

Camp of the redeemer and miscellaneous bird brains

I saw something a while back about this jesus camp thing and although I never took time to watch it, I did see a recorded episode this evening. Too bad my husband's 16 year old son is planning to work with them for the summer, I hate that the inlaws are "pretty much okay" with him going there at his age. They are a Pentacostal group but barely even so anymore. So I can only hope the hocus pocus doesn't take over his body and mind but he quietly assures me it's the free bed, free meals and a… Continue

oops, a thousand pardons to the attractive woman I associated with a certain celebrity... no harm meant, I truly thought in younger years (minus any make-up) she was attractive. She certainly is on the cover of her book. A thousand pardons.

That's OK Arnab. Much quicker than the second coming of Christ. Wouldn't want to be hanging by the balls waiting for that to happen.
