Judith Bandsma commented on Heather The Heathen's group South Carolina Atheists
"Atheist, theist, doesn't matter. We're all being beaten down by the ones who want to take our rights away from us, turn the clock back more than a hundred years. If you can, come. If you can't, spread the word.   Film showing-At…"

Judith Bandsma replied to Richard's discussion scientific evidence for the Biblical flood
"I need to clarify, the 'George' mentioned in the first couple sentences was a raving loon on the subject of the flood. It was also his contention that no actual animals were aboard the ark, only their DNA which Noah somehow reconstituted…"

Judith Bandsma replied to Richard's discussion scientific evidence for the Biblical flood
"The writer of the following, (Dr.) Marty Leipzig is a petroleum geologist and an atheist. FLOOD MATH: First- the global flood supposedly (Scripturally) covered the planet, (see that, George? If so, why are you still being so stupid?) and Mount…"

Judith Bandsma replied to Mike Hein's discussion More on the "I Believe" License plates in the group South Carolina Atheists
"We thought we'd have problems when we put the 'In Reason...' plate on the car but except for problems from the dealership mechanic (who kept hiding the part we needed to fix the car and stealing the headlight bulbs) we've had no…"

Judith Bandsma replied to Mike Hein's discussion More on the "I Believe" License plates in the group South Carolina Atheists
"Quite frankly, that "I Believe" plate conjures up a bunch of almost pranks that would probably cause them to pull the plates. Think about that honking big cross with the plate letters 'itties' after it. Or the bumper stickers for…"

Judith Bandsma replied to Jerry Steve Lewis's discussion Persecution
"In this country it seems that if you don't get to choose the lifestyle and god for everyone else, then you're being persecuted. A friend coined a term for them...talibornagains."

Judith Bandsma replied to Stephanie's discussion Sunday Alcohol Sales in the group South Carolina Atheists
"Greenville is not a tourist spot so the blue laws are enforced. If you go to Charleston, Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head, etc, you will find a whole other 'world' so to speak. It is hypocrisy at it's highest form. If a place can bring in…"

Judith Bandsma replied to RogAgainst's discussion LA times article rant against atheism

South Carolina Atheists

Connect with fellow freethinkers and skeptics in the palmetto state. It's difficult to be a religious minority in the bible belt, and we need to reach out to each other and let each other know we're here!

Greetings, Judith! I'm over 60 and fat too. I notice you haven't been active at Atheist Nexus lately. <sigh> Sometimes it can seem a bit fragmented, with different groups for every interest. Please consider a group for socializing, where we talk about whatever's on our minds, Hang With Friends. :D You might feel more at home.

Hi
You are most welcome here...
... to Atheist Nexus with its 8000 good friends.

A group you may like is “ORIGINS” (Origins: Universe, Life, Humans, Evolution, Religion..... ) with its 120 discussions and numerous video films.

One discussion (over 65 posts) is "Proud to be Atheist".
There's much to feel good about
because atheists and humanists hold the intellectual and moral high ground that is far removed from the pathetic superstitious god believers who are slaves to a narrow-minded controlling clergy and their imaginary beings.
