Lillie replied to Starscream's discussion Incessantly Meowing in the group Atheist Ailurophiles
"My son has a British Blue and it is a handsome, sweet cat.  She is very distinctive with a stocky build, broad head and shortish tail.  She loves attention and is definitely a lap kitty."

Lillie replied to Starscream's discussion Incessantly Meowing in the group Atheist Ailurophiles
"It has been my experience that the Siamese breed meows the most.  Does he have any of this in his family tree?  I, too, would recommend a second cat but just be sure it has no Siamese traits."

"You can try an easier food dispenser toy, such as toilet paper tubes - start with both ends open, then you can squish one end shut. I think the 2nd cat is a good idea, especially if you will be consistently gone for that much of the day.  You…"

Well, it is not an easy thing to be moderate or 'center-right' on this site. Most people are okay about discussing anything except politics and then they get a little...ummm...intolerant.

Dude, I'm feeling bad for you; you're arguing with insane people. You keep posting up rational statements and the wingnuts just keep assaulting you with caps, bold, italics, and exclamation points. You have a lot of patience.

Hi Judd, nice to meet you :) I'm only living in Canandaigua temporarily, closer to Bristol really in the mini mountains. Lived most of my life in Michigan and North Dakota so I am still unfamiliar with the area here. It's beautiful though. I woke up with a Great Blue Heron in the yard yesterday.

Thanks Judd. Not posting just to post is a good idea, especially if one has nothing to say, but I will admit that I frequently post simple comments just to let people know that I did read their post. But obviously, some discussions are more interesting than others, too. :)
