Hi there So this is me. I no longer want to identify as 'atheist' and yet here I am. I am a member of several atheist groups -- rational skepticism, for example. The others I can't even remember: I…Continue
"It seems to me that far too many people on here engage in black and white thinking. I'm doubtful that anything in this life is 100% bad or 100% good. And too many atheists can only see the badness of religion. Religion isn't bad; people do…"
"Hmmm. No, I don't think all religions are harmful. And I agree that we need clarity on the meaning of 'harmful'. Sincere question, this: how much do you know about other religions? Have you looked up liberal religions at all?"
"I think atheists start from the premise that any good religion does can be done secularly. That's as may be, but when it comes to forming community, religion has it all over atheism. Yes, atheists can form communities, but usually…"

Please consider a group for socializing, where we talk about whatever's on our minds, Hang With Friends. :D You might feel more at home.
