Thank you SO much for your comment on the "discussion" I started about sloppy science concerning cats and birds.  After reading "Nature Advocate's" series of rants, I was ready to go back to bed and pull the covers over my head for the rest of the day.  I would never shoot any animal, wild or domesticated....  Just can't imagine it.

Here's a wild  visitor we entertained a few years ago.  The year after the photo was taken, he came back with his mate.

Welcome, Joseph.  I am somewhat disabled myself and find the Internet very useful in meeting like-minded people especially on A/N.  I am also a student of information and find the Internet opens my world to all kinds of things new and unknown.

Welcome, Joseph! Glad you could join us. :D

Please consider joining a group to meet people and talk about anything that's on your mind, Hang With Friends. You might also like Are You Experienced?, Music Lovers, Sound Advice, and Fishing and Other Outdoor Stuff.

I also recommend Eco-Logical and Climate Concerns, since the climate is changing so drastically.

After you've searched for topics of interest in "Groups" above and in the "Forums", don't forget to look at recent activity which hides along the right margin of the page all the way at the bottom.

On a personal note, I've developed an animated gif technique, sort of “pull quote marries slideshow”. Samples are scattered across various groups, but you can find them easily by going to my twitter account. Each tweet has a link (after the description and before the hashtags) to a visually rich example here at Atheist Nexus. If you like them, please follow me

Hi Joseph

Welcome to this world of rationality and peace, where pure common sense like yours is enough to lead to the open freethinking wisdom of non-believers.

We invite you to join the busy group "ORIGINS: Universe, Astronomy, Life, Earth, Humans, Religion, Gods, Atheism, Evolution, Darwin..." with 700 discussion topics and 3600 members.

Signing Atheists

I was going to set up a group for Deaf Atheists, but figured I'd probably be alone in here if I did that so I figured I'd open it to anyone who knows sign language or even interested in learning it.
