About Me: I did my B.A. in philosophy at UC Berkeley, and I'm currently a PhD student in philosophy at Columbia University. My interests range widely over contemporary analytic philosophy, with a particular focus on philosophy of mind (particularly consciousness), philosophy of technology (particularly artificial intelligence and the metaphysics of tools), and naturalism (broadly construed). I'm concerned with reconciling common-sense realism with science, and with advocating for a closer collaboration between philosophy and the natural sciences. Aside from that, I also have more than a passing interest in technology and gadgetry, as well as a fascination with neuroscience. I also deeply enjoy stupid human tricks, and like to juggle all sorts of non-traditional objects.
