I think The Blasphemy Challenge is a brilliant initiative for a number of reasons;



It plays a part in consciousness raising - making it obvious to the world that we infidels are numerous beyond popular speculation. I also think that the challenge might, over time, empower the idea that being religious is embarrasing, and we make no reservations when it comes to lashing out.

One can't help but wonder if Christianity seems a slight bit forgetful when they so vehemently pronounce that the good book lives up to its ill-begotten name. There seems to be a chasm filled with ardent terror in Christian history leading up to our modern age, but do they remember? Have we heard any apologies?
