OK, I went ahead and posted it as is. Your blog is quoted and linked.
"How to--and not to--tattoo your life" http://ning.it/dLZA0y
Thanks--now it's my turn to be flattered! Reading your blog and poetry is, well, kind of exhilerating for me, actually. I hope I can do it justice when I mention it in my blog!
I wish my blog post had been enough to re-inspire me into vegetarianism! To be honest, I think I might be able to do it if it were more practical. I didn't mention in my blog that when I told my husband I wanted to try it out again he just laughed and said, "Yeah right, with the rest of us eating meat?" Bleh... I'm not willing to cook 2 meals at this point and he's not willing to go vegetarian, but maybe I can figure out how to do it, as long as I keep cooking everyone else their meat. :/
I love your blog and poetry. Do you mind if I mention it (and linke to it) in a blog post of mine?

I enjoyed meeting you in the chat room yesterday. Thank you for joining Lord of the Rings Atheists.
Thanks for the compliment. I've only been drawing/painting for a few weeks, so I'm just amazed I can create something halfway recognizable!
I didn't mind Manhattan much when I was there, but I was a lot younger (well, 6 or 7 years younger anyway). My ex was stationed at Ft Riley so we actually spent about half our time there. I don't think I could stand it now, though, seeing as how I'm having trouble getting used to San Antonio, TX, which is enormous compared to Manhattan.
Brianna Starfish said… Life just got too hectic for the approach I was taking. When I started I was living alone in a different city, so I had all the time in the world. Then I moved back home and I had a full time job and family and friends and it just got a bit too hectic. I plan on continuing reading it when I get more time.
My advice is to read The Message (which can be found on biblegateway.com) which is an easier translation to follow. Also read the annotations in the Skeptic's Annotated Bible (skepticsannotatedbible.com). Some of the stuff on the SAB is kind of grasping at straws, but it keeps tabs on a lot of the continuity issues in the bible.
