This has nothing to do with atheism, but I have become fond and familiar with the community here and I would like your collective opinion on a sensitive matter with which I am faced. I know a little girl at a chinese restaurant I frequent; she is the owners' daughter and she eats with me when I come in. Let me first say that until this year, I fully beleived that 9/11 was the work of al-Qaeda and Bin Laden...because I had never bothered to look at any of the conspiracy theories. I dislike that analogy at the most fundamental level, are we closest to apes or to bees/ants???? Which society therefore best describes our true nature??? I think the answer is pretty obvious.
It not about right or wrong, but I for one to not aspire to a bee or ant life, I prefer ape life.
