Windows 7 is awesome. I would look into a netbook (presumably from ASUS) with Windows 7 on it. But what ever PC you go with( don't get an Acer, Toshiba or Lenovo), I would go with either Avira Antivir, Avast, or AVG if you want a free virus…
Windows 7 vs Mac
Ok, getting the daughter a laptop for school and I want one for me. She is a junior in high school in advance studies. I'm a 39-40 year old guy. She listens to music, websurfs, watches her favorite shows on the computer. I websurf, blog, and also watch my shows and listen to music on the computer. Are PC is older and slow on the web. Little Name Atheist said… - I actually deleted my profile from Facebook, as I got tired of friends telling me they didn't have time to respond to email/letters, talk on the phone or meet in person, but they did have time to take Facebook quizzes, etc. ad nauseum.
I'm hoping some people actually want to meet. Brother Richard, one of the founders of the site, is very committed to building atheist community.
