- I am a student at the U of M TC studying a program in biology called Genetics, Cell Biology, and Development. I have been an atheist since I was in 9th or 10th grade, but I was brought up in a pretty religious Lutheran household. Most all of my friends are aware of my thoughts on religion, but my family is yet to know. I know I know, I should really get on that since 7 or 8 years have passed... Such is the dilemma that I'm sure many atheists face. Clearing your conscience and sharing your true self, or maintaining positive relationships with family.
