Does anyone know of any non-religious charities? I really want to donate money and/or time to a worthy cause (currently I want to donate to less-fortunate children in South Africa) but have found it…Continue

"I hope you don't mind, I just copied your profile and sent to my fiance. He's not religious, but believes in a god. I was trying to make him understand my point of view...but you say it so well...."
I'm delighted to agree to anything that helps.
Buona fortuna.

Dr. Terence Meaden said… Jennifer, you are absolutely superb in making such a very kind donation to the Kasese Humanist Primary School in Uganda. I also got my donation away today, and in addition I wrote to Robert Bwambale to which he has very beautifully replied.

I had to cut short my previous entry to you because there is a 2000 character limit when using this comment wall.
Robert Bwambale joined Atheist Nexus and the "Origins" group about three months ago (see under Bwambale Robert). Very farsighted, he has founded this freethinking science-based school in Uganda. I know of no schools in the US or in Britain with the word humanist in the name. I intend donating $1000 shortly.

Dear Esteemed visitors to Kasese humanist primary school website,
I welcome all of you for visiting our site.
Unlike most schools that exist in Uganda where most schools are built on Christian foundations and Islamic Foundation, our school is strictly set up on the Foundation of Science. . . . . [see the next web site for the rest of this description. . . and many photos]

Terry Meaden (I know of a very deserving cause in Africa. It is a humanist/atheist primary school that started at the end of January this year. I'll look up the details for you. I want to donate to this worthy venture).
