About Me: I am a former Christian and a former member of the Worldwide Church of God. Though I was young when I attended WCG, I still got the whole experience, as my family was deeply rooted in it.
I am now an atheist and happier than I ever was believing in a god.
I am happily married to a wonderful man. It will be 5 years in December.

It's strange how much of a hold that teh WCG can have. I was never a real member, just read the tracts. Even so, they had a 'hold' on me for many years after I stopped beleiving. I still think of them as definitive with regard to being "true christian".
Glad that you escaped. If you are interested, there is an atheist nexus group for former fundamentalists - link here.
I may also be able to connect you to another A|N member who is former WCG, if you want me to check.
