Sorry, Jason. I never intended to give the impression that I looked down on you. I was only trying to respond to your suggestion that we have conversations. I have 305 friends at the moment and moderate an active group. I don't encourage people to have lengthy conversations via comments because comments on my page get lost. Often what is said is worthy of saving and sharing. For this reason I encourage sharing conversations with the larger group in which I'm most active. Discussions there don't get lost. Also, it seems a shame to waste an intelligent conversation on just me.
The exception, of course, is a private topic. Even strangers can have something to say that they don't want the whole world to hear. Sometimes someone is embarrassed or angry. I'm sorry if I sounded presumptuous. I don't expect people to share all of my values to be friends, just not to be jerks. If your standards are higher, that's fine.
You're so talented. I wondered why you haven't joined Atheist Musicians.
Unless you have something you need to discuss privately, I suggest you post a discussion in Hang With Friends. I'll be sure to see what you say, and so will over 600 other bright interesting people (who might have a more interesting response than mine alone). 600 brains are better than one.
