Priest put on leave for soccer mass

Obviously, this has been too much enthusiasm for the catholic church of the Netherlands: a priest who had celebrated a "Soccer Mass" for the Dutch world championship team, with soccer anthems and all, has been put on leave to "cool down and focus".Maybe, maybe he was reprimanded this way because they didn't win, after all …Here's the whole article (in German, but it has some pictures in it):…See More

Welcome to Atheist Nexus with its thousands of good friends.

Try joining groups like the busy discussion group ORIGINS (Origins: Universe, Life, Humans, Evolution, Religion..... ).

I have been running a long discussion (over 50 posts) there about being "Proud to be Atheist" because we all should be proud,
seeing that atheists and humanists hold the intellectual high ground over the nonsense of the irrational, superstitious god believers.
