I'm stopping over in Cuba before heading to the Panama canal to see what Americans have been missing. So far I have enjoyed my stay and love these people. They remind me of the pioneering immigrants of the yesteryear Americans, live on little but not afraid to make a new life without any outside help. The people hear are absolutely amazing. I am glad I stopped over for a short time.

I finished stocking up and am waiting for sunrise tomorrow to take off. I took Dawkins for one last run on the beach and an hour of disc golf. I've updated my charts and am googling for places to visit on the way. I want to find a nudist beach or two and some places on the way to let Dawkins off to unwind.

My last day of work was yesterday and my co-workers gave me a party to make Jesus proud. I am still feeling the effects. I'm off tomorrow to finish shopping for human and dog food for our long voyage to Ecuador.
