About Me: Hi! I am an Atheist, became one when I was around 18 and got me through a bad time in my life.
I always concentrated on God (well "Allah") and felt that I only needed him even though I was a very lonely and neglected child. I tried everything to develop a personal relationship with God so I wouldn't be lonely, but nothing worked and I became even more withdrawn. I felt like I had been abandoned and rejected by God aswell as everyone else.
Ironically when I considered the idea that there is nothing there, which is why I don't "feel" anything I felt better and better and a little more sociable (Still need to work on it!). So I became an Atheist I didn't really care about my loneliness as much as I used to.
Obviously that isn't the only reason why I became an Atheist, but it is the main one.
