My brain sort of just goes off on random tangents anytime something remotely philosophical arises in my though patterns, and walking sort of brings a peace about my mind. What sorts of activities and hobbies do you enjoy? You must be very busy, by the look of your profile. I'm just a wanderer in many ways, my interests come and go with time, my moods swing about, If the weather's hot, just take a nice sit in the bar ditch and watch the cows till it's good for walkin again...i dunno.
Even though some people genuinely think they are being nice by it, It still upsets me when they act sorry for me because I don't see their "truth". You know, "i'll pray for you" crap. I tend to not talk most of the time just so people don't notice anything about me so I can exist peacefully, but that puts a damper on social life. I am somewhat lonely as well. Though I'm not in particularly good shape, I do enjoy a several-mile-long walk most days.
Going my way? It's fine, I live with my parents while I'm taking local courses to save money, but eventually I'll probably go to a state college and go for a major. I've had a job doing computer tech work for various acquaintances and stuff. A local psychiatric clinic hired me for a while to work on the computers that ran their EEG machines, and I made quite a bit of cash on that. Other than that, just messing with my hobbies in-between jobs. My parents are pretty cool about chipping in on some of my more educational hobbies too, so that's a plus. As far as what's on my mind, it's a constant obsession with philosophy. Sometimes I have a total hippie perspective, other times I get into this totalitarian "enslave the proletariat" mood. Getting your life started, don't try and go too fast. I jumped into a huge course-load at a fancy liberal arts school and I just about had a nervous breakdown.
Hi to Illyria23 and welcome to Atheist Nexus and the rational people of this world who, like you, recognise religion for the superstition and fraud that it is --- and that God and gods are nothing but fictions inside people's heads.
