I'm really the only Atheist I know as of right now, so I was just looking to maybe make some friends with similar ideas. I went to church in my younger years, and even at 8 or 9 years old I had this uneasy feeling every time I went. I struggled with it in my teenage years, trying to rationalize god and all that, but I never could. So finally I gave up on that, and I've looked into just about every other religion there is. Hinduism, Buddhism, Wicca, none of them really gave me any peace. I finally decided a couple years ago that I was an atheist, and that gave me peace of mind. It just makes sense. I respect others and what they choose to believe in, just as I expect them to respect my choice of "religion" or lack thereof. I just can't believe there aren't more atheists in the world!
