I sought comfort in the eye opening teachings of biology and chemistry. It was very easy to let go of my Roman Catholic background when science answered all my questions clearly.
Greetings,Hanna! I notice you haven't been active at Atheist Nexus lately. <sigh> Sometimes it can seem a bit fragmented, with different groups for every interest. Please consider a group for socializing, where we talk about whatever's on our minds, Hang With Friends. :D You might feel more at home.
Hi ;-)
I love your background image, these are chromosomes, right?
I want to study biology next year at a canadian university and wanted to ask if yours is a good one :P ?
Would be very helpful

Hey. I'm a fellow atheist from Ontario - specifically Hamilton. Similar to how you "took comfort" in chemistry and biology I too "took comfort" in physics and philosophy. I found it easy yet I feel we atheists are missing the community aspect that the religious have (I am not suggesting we become religious though). I am entering first year at McMaster University. It is funny how far a little critical thought can get one. Hooray for Star Trek!

Riker is my bitch. He's making me a sandwich right now and fetching me a beer. He better be quick about it, too.
