I am sure the evangelical morons may not even have heard of these countries. And from `their` experience in Iraq and Afganistan, where they burned their hands so badly, they are weary. American politics are well satired by Bill Maher ( on HBO), who coincidentally is one of us. You have greater political turmoil there , hope wisdom will win over a tyrant like Assad. I feel internet atheist is one way to ventilate your frustrations.
