I love Mitchell and Webb, freakin' hilarious satire. Tim Minchin I just recently discovered and completely exasperated his library. But I'd have to point you towards Jim Jeffries, if you're going for godlessness. Also, David Cross,…

Gregor commented on Mdooo1's group 'Gun Owning Atheists'
Hello from Kansas. As a former Marine I firmly believe in absolutely no gun control. The only true "gun control," in my opinion is if it is in your hand. This may seem, may be, a very short sighted view, but no matter how many gun laws are…

Gregor replied to L.Hunter's discussion 'Respect or Resignation' in the group Recovering from Religion
I think so many of the things that we should practice as humans, we neglect because we have an emotional attachment to the idea that they are "Christian" in nature. What is wrong sitting silently for a moment and reflecting and feeling…

Exactly. Some kind of cameo. We're probably not looking in the right spot...do you think Jesus did one of those awful '80's singles with Paul Schaffer? Who co-wrote "It's Raining Men" again?

About Me
I am a 30 year old guy who doesn't believe in god. I think the bible is a load of bull. Not only that, but it is fiction that has been revised for power and politics almost non-stop, why anyone would believe a word of it is beyond me.
My favorite quote is from Epicurus, cliche though it may be, you can't say the logic is flawed.
"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able, and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God."

PZed and the Marathon

Posted on December 17, 2009 at 11:05pm 0 Comments

Here's a limerick that I came up with while browsing Pharyngula while mildly intoxicated:

There once was a boy named Christ
Whose cookies you should not heist
PZ Myers came up
And drank from his cup
And ran off with his earlobes and thighs

Welcome to the Psychology group. I'm a clinical psychologist here in the KC area (Lee's Summit). I see that you're in Mission, and that you're a fellow Emporia alumnus.

Welcome, Gregory. Always good to find a sympathizer here in the bible belt. I was surprised to learn there's is a group in the KC area though I haven't met met any of them. If you're interested write to an amazing guitar player named Beau Bledsoe and he'll tell you about it. Once more - greetings - Michael
