I truly feel happy when I learn something, esp. when a theory is substantiated via a series of events backed up by sound, creative engineering and science. Gives me hope that we're making another…Continue

The Flying Atheist said… Greg, glad you're enjoying this site. I too like the wide range of people here from all over the globe. Regarding the "Get well wishes," I've been off work with a fractured bone in my foot since March, but returning to work soon. Thanks for asking. --Carl
Atheist Andrea said… Thanks for sending me a friend request! Sometimes I feel like the only atheist in NH. :-)

David Philip Norris said… Hi Greg! Thanks for the note. I have more than one reason for leaving. For one thing I'm just getting too many emails. No one really seems sure what the topic is, or can stay on topic. It feels like being on one of those conference calls where everyone is trying to talk over everyone else, and everyone is sure of their being absolutely right. Maybe a better word is chaotic. Certain people on that page have been particularly hostile too: Denise Thomas, for one. Not sure what her beef is with me. So, again, there are many reasons.

Jenna L Henry said… You make an excellent point, Greg. It is about time that people who see that religious indoctrination is not only not working but causing more strife than is necessary are speaking up and uniting for change. Personally, I have become involved with the local NAP chapter in my state via the Environmental Committee (once I get my paperwork in) and am taking steps to begin a non-profit for community enrichment via sustainable urban farming that I intend to expand into a sort of secular ministry with the goal of unbiased help in a time of need as well as the spread of logic and reason. Sustainable and green living are the foundation. Lots of work ahead of me. Hehe. Bravo on becoming outspoken. It has taken years, but I'm finally there with ya. Hope you're having a splendid week. (=
Jenna L Henry said… Hi! (= New Hampshire, wow, that is someplace I know nothing about! Hope this finds you and yours well. I, too, am sick of the religious detriment to society. High five for being enlightened, intelligent and brave enough to speak up.
