I think if the "Black Humanist Group" understood volition and logic were factors in determining whether altruism was necessary in a given situation or not I would be more comfortable joining such a group.

- that would be very awesome of you. seems like there are fairly active "campus" groups for younger folks, and a few meet-up groups for older folks (40-50+/professionals that have known each other forever) but nothing for anyone 24-40/young professionals/recent grads, etc. at least as far as i've seen. and i'm sure i put forth way more effort towards finding GA freethinkers between here, FB, and meetup.com, than most.
