So what you're telling me is that the entire country is subjected to fraternity hazing?

Well, people over here have a habit of getting totally fucked up in semi-public places. If you're going to pass out on a couch at a crowded house party/club, you deserve to have shit stacked on you in a perilous manner.

Cruel? Kinda. Hilarious? Completely.

Also, I dated a frat boy for years - they make a habit of torturing each other when shitfaced. After a while it became almost ritual and a term evolved out of necessity.

Are you really amazed that a version of "pile stuff on the passed out guy" exists over here? I'd like to think appreciation for slightly abusive party games is universal.

OK, that sounds like a plan. I'll let you know if I find anyone else who would be interested in co-running a biology group.
Cheers!

Thanks for the translation. I actually have a degree in biochemistry but am working in IT now while I study philosophy on the side. I understand your apprehension in starting a biology group. However, if you have the passion you will be successful. This website has a lot of potential for growth and biologists are the most likely of all scientists to be atheist (statistically). I will offer any support you may need in setting up.
There is so much we can talk about on a biology group. For instance, did you hear about the recent discovery of the oldest species of turtle recovered? It has given scientists new clues about the evolution of the turtle shell....
