majored in political science, minored in
philosophy and psychology. I am a Ph.D
student at the University of Delaware in
political science. My main goal is to become
a college professor.

Who am I? A freethinker, an atheist, and a
rationalist. Politically I am a liberal
leaning towards socialism. I largely agree
with the philosopher Socrates who said: "I
know nothing except the fact of my
ignorance."

I've come to believe that beliefs should be
formed on the basis of science, and logic,
and not be compromised by emotion, authority,
tradition, or any religious dogma.

Well, that sure took me a shamefully long time to respond to! I get active on the internet for a while and then get immersed in the schoolwork--tedious, time-consuming, technical 3D animation assignments and delightful stress/screen-related migraines. And then I get back around the intertubz once I get a nice, relaxing class (like college math!), and it is not pretty! For this and all my (internet) sins, I am heartily sorry! ;)

But enough 'bout me--how 'bout you? Uhm...sounding some agreement with some of the commenters here. A philosophy/psych/polsci major with socialist leanings...here? Heck, I'm amazed you're not getting more hits! But I don't understand most chicks anyway, never did. :)

I'd probably give it a try, but always keeping in mind that my brother's girlfriend said the same thing. At first, anyway. Not sure if guys are quite as much like that, so I might have better luck.

A-course, unlike my brother, relocation is less of a dream and more of a necessity if I'm going to pay back my exhorbitant student loans. So, unlike my brother, I'm California-bound with or without any SO I might have picked up in the meantime.

That is a good question that I hadn't considered. Amazingly enough, since it seems like an obvious one. Which is the reason for what seems to me an overly-detailed answer--it's going on my own page too.
