I view myself as a true scientist, looking for what is true no matter what it is.
I am now trying to get college done and get in to med school to become a doctor. My interests there are in helping people and since I have a knack with inventing stuff and engineering I want to get into the R+D portion of medicine.
I grew up with a mother who told me to find out what I believe for myself. While I do believe in spiritual entities like my animal guide (you can guess what it is) I believe in it because of testing and personal experience. I test my spiritual beliefs every day. I figure if I am going to believe in something like this I better have data to back it up. :)
My mom and dad as well as my brother are all devout atheists and I myself don't believe in a god per-say. Certainly I don't believe in any creator. A friend of mine told me that I do have a god and that my god is science. I think he has a point.
Other than that I was shot back 2005 and am now in a wheel chair because of it. I have not allowed this to set me back on what I want to do. Rather I think it has helped push me forward. I have had to accept a lot of help from others and it just makes me want to help people that much more. Kind of reminded me that there are a lot of people out there that are still worth helping and not just gang bangers with guns.
If you have any other questions about me you may feel free to ask. I am a pretty open person and all questions will get answered even if the answer is "none of your business"
I hope that you have a good day and may you find the answers you are looking for.
