Thanks for the welcomes everyone. I lived in california before I moved to utah. After the housing crash, the specific city I lived in was hit extra hard, so I moved to utah for a better job situation. I eventually plan to move to washington state. As far as what UT is like... It's a beautiful state, lots of tall mountains right next to the cities. If you like the outdoors you would love it here. As far as the people... Mormons, i try to stay away from them. They are nice people to interact with on a surface level, but I would not want to go deeper than that.
